(South Portland, Maine) - No. 3 College of St. Joseph upset No. 1 University of Maine at Fort Kent 67-64 to win the Sunrise Conference championship.   
The Fighting Saints ended the Bengals 12-game winning streak and received an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament in Branson, Missouri.
 
Rui Carmo led all scorers with a game high 35 points to go with 12 boards. Tyler Herrington was the only other Saint in double figures with 14 points and senior center Rich Ortega added seven points and 11 boards.
 

Fort Kent was led by Gediminas Sumyla who had a team high 15 points. Jimmy Lopez added 14 points. Othniel Hyliger had 10 points and a game high 16 boards and Hamill Bassue chipped in with 12 points.
