(Concord, N.H.)- Top-seeded Fisher College won their fourth Sunrise Conference championship in the past five years beating No. 2 University of Maine at Fort Kent 67-54 in the title game Sunday at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord.  The Falcons (21-11) earned a berth in the NAIA Division II National Championship March 11-17 at the College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.

Fisher led by 10 points at halftime, 32-22, and then held off a second-half charge from the Bengals who were denied in the title game for the second year in a row. 


The Falcons also used two strong halves from each of their top players.  Louis Williams dropped in 15 of his 20 points in the first 20 minutes and drained four 3-pointers in the game finishing with eight treys in the tournament.  Brandon Hamilton took over in the second half scoring 17 of his game-high 23 points in the final stanza.  Hamilton also snagged 11 rebounds.  Stephen Rice added eight points and five boards for the Falcons and Casey Pursell had five points and two rebounds.


Brandon Fox collected his second double-double of the tournament and sixth of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bengals.  Jimmy Lopez knocked down a pair of treys and had 13 points and four rebounds.  Othniel Hyliger added 12 rebounds and eight points and Hamill Bassue supplied eight points and six boards.
