Justin Newland of Vermont Technical College has been named the Male Runner of the Week.

Justin finished in 38th place at the Panther Invitational at Middlebury College. 

Newland completed the 8K race in a time of 30:18, beating his own school record by 30 seconds. 

His time was also five minutes faster than he when ran the same race a year ago.
