Jackie Maynard of SUNY Canton has been named the Sunrise Conference Defensive Player of the Week in women's soccer.
Jackie wins the award after leading SUNY Canton to a tight 3-2 win over the University of Maine at Machias.
The senior back from Brasher Falls, N.Y. scored two goals including the game-winner with 1:06 left in regulation.
