Mindy Morneault of the University of Maine at Fort Kent has been named the Sunrise Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Mindy wins the award for the third time this season after posting a pair of shutouts and allowing just one goal in three games. 

The junior goalie from Eagle Lake, Maine had three saves in a 4-0 win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle. 

She then had one save in a 6-1 win over SUNY Canton and was not called on to make a save in a 9-0 win over Paul Smith's College.
