Craig Maffei of the University of Maine at Presque Isle has been named the Sunrise Conference co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Maffei is recognized for his strong play in a 2-0 win over Vermont Technical College. 

The junior from Readfield, Maine, helped hold the Green Knights to just three shots on goal for the Owls eighth shutout of the season.
