Ashley Ames of the University of Maine at Fort Kent has been honored as the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week in volleyball.

Ashley played her final collegiate games at home at Fort Kent helping the Bengals go 2-1 at the Sunrise Conference round robin event in Maine. 

The senior from Dexter, Maine delivered 39 kills, six service aces, and five solo blocks. 

She had 14 kills in wins against Paul Smith's College and the University of Maine at Machias.
