Ashley Ames of the University of Maine at Fort Kent has been named the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week in women's volleyball.

Ashley wins the award for the second straight week after a solid performance in two matches against Thomas College. 

The senior from Dexter, Maine collected 14 kills, nine digs, one ace and one block in those two matches.
