Jasmin Handanovic of Fisher College has been named the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week in men's basketball.

Jasmin receives the Rookie of the Week award for the third time this season after helping the Falcons stay unbeaten in the conference with two more wins. 

The freshman guard from Milford, Conn. averaged 11.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists.  Jasmin posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds in an 83-53 win over Vermont Technical College. 

He then had eight points, seven rebounds and two assists in a 92-85 win over the College of St. Joseph.
