Kristen Violette of the University of Maine at Fort Kent has been honored as the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball.

Kristen is honored as the Player of the Week for the second time this year after guiding the Bengals to two conference wins. 

The sophomore forward from Eagle Lake, Maine averaged 20.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 67 percent from the floor and the free throw line. 

Kristen had 25 points, five rebounds and two blocks in a 74-65 win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle and then had 15 points and three assists in an 81-51 win over SUNY Canton.
