Linden Smith-Hyde of Vermont Technical College has been named co-Rookie of the Week in men's basketball.

Linden is honored this week for the first time after battling several injuries to help Vermont Tech to a 2-1 week. 

The freshman guard from Sydney, Australia averaged 15.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.7 steals. 

He had 22 points, eight assists and five rebounds in an 87-72 win over Presque Isle.  He then had 18 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in a 73-60 win over St. Joseph and he also collected 17 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in a 76-64 loss to Fort Kent.
