Jimmy Lopez of the University of Maine at Fort Kent has been named the Sunrise Conference co-Player of the Week in men's basketball.

Jimmy is honored for the first time this year after guiding the Bengals to a pair of wins and into first place in the Sunrise Conference. 

The senior guard from Fitchburg, Mass. averaged 21.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals while burying 10 3-pointers. 

He connected on seven 3-pointers for 25 points against the College of St. Joseph and collected 17 points, three rebounds and two assists in a win over Fisher College. 

He finished the week shooting 51 percent from the floor and 45 percent from beyond the arc.
