Emily Pelletier of the University of Maine at Presque Isle has been named the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week in women's basketball.

Emily is honored for the fourth time this year after leading the Owls to a 2-1 week. 

The freshman guard from Fort Kent, Maine averaged 16.6 points, 2.6 steals and 1.6 rebounds in three games. 

Emily had 17 points in wins against the College of St. Joseph and Fisher College and scored 16 points in a loss to the University of Maine at Machias. 

She hit 44 percent of her shots from the field during the week.
