Carolina Olivares of SUNY Canton has been named the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week in softball.

Carolina is honored this week after batting an impressive .882 in a four-game sweep of Vermont Technical College. 

The junior shortstop from Adelanto, Calif. belted three doubles and two triples, drove in 15 runs and scored 10 times. 

She went 4-for-4 twice, the second time finishing with seven RBIs, and she had four hits in three out of the four games.
