Tina DeLuca of SUNY Canton has been named the Sunrise Conference Pitcher of the Week in softball.

Tina gets the nod for the second time this year after tossing four wins over the University of Maine at Presque Isle this weekend to help the Roos win the regular season championship. 

The freshman from Fresh Meadows, N.Y. struck out seven batters and allowed just one walk and six runs in those four games. 

She recorded five strikeouts in a 5-2 win over the Owls and didn't give up a walk in three out of the four games and she also allowed just two extra base hits.
